Formed in the fall of 2006, the Diamond Dawg Baseball Club began as a single team-entity dedicated to the development of players from Stone Bridge and Potomac Falls High School. Throughout the fall the team know as the Potomac Diamond Dawgs was used a developmental program for those players.
Soon thereafter the program expanded to support several different age groups of baseball players. In the first summer of its’ inception, the Diamond Dawg baseball Club supported 4 teams all coached by high school baseball coaches all of which had college playing experience. Throughout the summer those players participated in a number of tournaments and NVTBL (Northern Virginia Travel Baseball League) games structured towards providing a game experience that would help players develop and grow as elite level ballplayers.
Fall of 2007 brought a turnover, as the Diamond Dawg Baseball Club split into two teams which provided players and opportunity to continue to develop their skills (Varsity and JV) and a third team that participated with ODL sanctioning. This third team put an emphasis on showcasing players that wish to play collegiate baseball while gaining the highest level of competition available at that time.

5. We provide a "Big League" on field approach with a personal off-field approach.
- We treat your player with a rapport that you would expect from a professional organization.
- Our goal is to create self-actualized baseball players capable of realizing how to improve their strengths and weaknesses with the game of baseball and develop a work ethic that allows them to achieve their baseball goals
- Off of the field we develop a system of communication that comfortably allows for inquiry between player and coach, parent and coach, and player to parent.
- We offer the opportunity for you to work with our coaches to develop a "Player Profile Product."
